Why this tool stays in the browser

Convert Unix timestamps to human-readable dates and back without a timezone API call. Seconds vs milliseconds is an explicit toggle so JavaScript Date values and POSIX time are not mixed up. All math is in the tab. Use it when logs, JWTs, or database columns disagree on epoch units. Cron expressions and timezone planning live in adjacent tools if you are scheduling rather than converting a single instant.

FAQ

Does this hit a timezone API?
No. Conversion is local. Use Timezone Planner when you need meeting overlap across zones.
Seconds or milliseconds?
Toggle explicitly. Mixing POSIX seconds with JS milliseconds is the usual off-by-1000 bug in logs and JWTs.
Can I convert ISO-8601 strings?
Yes — parse a date string to Unix time and back in the same page.
